Jim Hoft: Rev. Jeremiah Wright: Barack Obama Has Done Nothing For Black Community (h/t Israel Matzav)

Ouch. Barack Obama’s former pastor and mentor Jeremiah Wright told author Ed Klein of The Amateur that Barack Obama has done nothing for the black community. Wright also said Obama was selected. Klein played the audio today on the Sean Hannity radio show.

Wright is right. Barack Obama owns the highest black unemployment rate in 27 years.

Ed Klein also said Jeremiah Wright told him he “made it comfortable” for Obama to accept Christianity without having to renounce his “Islamic background.” Klein also has this on tape.

FP: Recently I noticed that, based on Obama’s attempt to bribe Wright to shut up, he admitted that he lied when he claimed that he did not agree with Wright’s racism and anti-Semitism.

Now this. And please pay attention to what he says about Obama being “selected” by the Jews.

I can’t say I regret that Obama used him like he used everybody else and then threw him under the bus. Nor do I regret that he’s now paying Obama back. Classy people.

OTOH, there’s this.

Ex-Arafat adviser: PA funded Arab Israeli parties

Mohammed Rashid, the former economic adviser to Yasser Arafat who is wanted by the Palestinian Authority for embezzling hundreds of millions of dollars, revealed Thursday that the PA had provided financial aid to Israeli Arab parties during general elections in Israel.

He also demanded an investigation into the source of PA President Mahmoud Abbas's wealth.

Rashid, who is currently in London, said that Abbas used to "take millions of dollars from the Palestinian Authority and the private sector under the pretext of helping Arab parties in Israeli elections."

Rashid, who is better known as Khaled Islam, did not name the Israeli Arab parties that received financial aid from Abbas.

FP: Name another country today or in history expected (1) feeds and sustains a genocidal enemy sworn to its destruction with which is at war and (2) tolerates political parties and organizations sworn to the same goal and funded by that very enemy. Would any rational country satisfy such expectations and expect to survive?

IOC: No special tribute to slain Israelis

Olympic committee rejects Israel's request to hold special tribute to 11 Israeli team members killed by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 games • IOC president says officials would attend the Israeli delegation's tribute for victims at games.

PA sports chair: Oust Israel from Olympic c'tees

Israel should be excluded from Olympic unions and committees, head of the Palestinian Football Association says.

FP: Abbas, one of those responsible for the Munich murders, is now the expired leader of the PA that represents no country but that demands the exclusion of Israel, that does. This should tell you the direction in which the world goes.

Clear Channel Rejects Billboard Highlighting Heartland Institute’s Corporate Funders: “You can’t criticize a corporation.”

Less than two weeks after the Heartland Institute compared people who believe in global warming to the Unabomber on a Clear Channel Chicago (CCMO) digital billboard, Clear Channel has rejected an ad campaign highlighting corporate support for the controversial think tank on the eve of its annual climate-change-denial conference.

The proposed ads, which would be displayed on the exact same digital billboard the Heartland Institute used, point out that some of the world's most prominent corporations "still support climate deniers" - and ask viewers if they do, too. The ads feature pharmaceutical maker Pfizer, software corporation Microsoft, and media giant Comcast. These corporations were chosen because they have significantly contributed to the Heartland Institute, but have thus far rejected calls to end their relationship with the controversial organization. The ads do not feature any known serial killers or terrorists.

Clear Channel Outdoors Chicago Branch President Par Ridder rejected the billboards in a telephone conversation with Forecast the Facts, explaining that Clear Channel "would not approve a billboard that criticized corporations." When asked whether that was an official Clear Channel policy, Ridder declined to comment.

FP: Media corporation are a critical component of the corporate welfare state. Without them the ability of the latter to thrive would be almost impossible. Instead of being part of the solution they are an integral part of the problem.

And this is orthogonal to whether one believes in global warming or does not.

As to what the corporate welfare state is capable of:

Wells Fargo Has Blood on Its Hands: Desperate Man Commits Suicide After Shocking Foreclosure Mistreatment

The quick version of this terrible story is that Norman and Oriane Rousseau of Newbury Park, California were scammed into a predatory mortgage. But they made their payments anyway, always paying with a cashier’s check in person at the same branch. Then one day the bank misapplied their payment and said they still owed the money. This started a long, nasty process that led to the bank evicting the Rousseaus from their home.

Here’s the shocker: right at the start the Rousseaus came up with proof that the bank had received the payment and had cashed the check. But the bank continued to claim it had missed the payment, gave the Rousseaus the runaround, started applying fees, and used it as an excuse to foreclose on the house anyway.

Read it all and judge for yourself.
